Doris Albisser is an entrepreneur and Executive Chairman of Evaluglobe AG, a company founded at the end of 2014. With Evaluglobe she focuses on board mandates, investments into companies and fostering their growth as well as supporting firms in their internationalization efforts. Her focus in the internationalization business is geared to European companies in Asia and Asian companies expanding to Europe. Doris has a wealth of experience with developing and growing business in Europe, Asia and North America, both organically and through acquisitions.
Before founding Evaluglobe AG, Doris led CLS Communication as Group CEO for 16 years and then as Vice Chairman from its inception as a spin-off through a management buyout, its internationalization, on-boarding of a private equity firm, acquisitions up to its sale in 2015.
Under Doris' leadership, CLS evolved from the translation departments of Swiss Bank Corporation (UBS) and Zurich Insurance into a full-service technology-driven language solutions provider with 600 employees and 5,000 external partners across 20 locations in 10 countries in Europe, Asia and North America.
Prior to CLS, she held executive positions in the translation departments of two major banks and worked as a language technology consultant.
In 2021 she won the INSEAD IDN Award for an outstanding mandate in the non-for-profit category (SOS Children's Villages). In 2007, she won the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award (‘Services’ category) in recognition of her entrepreneurial achievements.
She is a certified translator and holds an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). She completed educational programs in corporate governance at University of St. Gallen, INSEAD (France) (Certfied Director, IDP) and CEIBS/Wharton (China).
